Blow, winds, blow. Terry the Teacher learned his craft in the military. He’d blow into a military locker to practise quietly. ‘It meant that when you played in the open you got a good sound.’
Busker Steve plays in the underpass in our city. ‘Takes me about an hour to warm up,’ he says, crouching, guitar on his lap, howling his high tenor voice. ‘The acoustic here, it changes wherever you stand. But it’s good, just in the entrance.’
